"I really enjoyed being in touch with my intuition for choosing images, then the physical cutting and pasting and then allowing the card to emerge".

"I like working in a group and being reminded that it is ok to listen to my inner self. It is good to know that there are other people on the same wavelength!

SoulCollageR is a process developed by Seena Frost of Santa Cruz, CA. By selecting images from magazines and other sources and then moving around the images until they seem to fit together, we can gain valuable information about what is going on for us on the heart and soul level.  This process involves the use of both the right brain (images) and then the left brain (words to explain) and therefore often gives us access to surprising internal information.

Although SoulCollage cards can be made at any time, it is especially powerful to make cards together with other women.
In the introduction classes I teach, I will ask each person to come up with a question that they would like more information about. Such a question might be, "What do I need to know in order to feel at peace inside" or "Who or what would be helpful in making my decision about my next career move". We then make cards together. At the end of class, we go through a process of honoring all the cards that have been made and giving each person an opportunity to share what she learned about her question, by "reading" their soulcollage card.

It is a fun process, no artistic talent needed, and everyone leaves the class knowing something new about herself or being validated for things she already knew.  Sharing SoulCollageR is also a wonderful way to build community. If you have a group of friends/families or colleague that would like to take the class together, Kathryn will come to you. The class is free to anyone who "hostesses" an intro class.

Check the Events Section of this web site to find out about upcoming classes and other SoulCollage events.

Introduction classes will be held in the Portland/Vancouver area and other areas where there is an interest.  Just bring your favorite scissors and everything else will be supplied.

Hi, I'm Kathryn King and I want to welcome you to my web site.
If you would like to be on my mailing list, please sign up on the
    "contact" page.

Our lives have become more and more complex and it seems
as though our old ways of coping are no longer enough.  There
are times in each of our lives when we need someone to turn
to to help us sort out the issues and find new ways to be at
peace with ourselves and our worlds.

An experienced therapist or non-denominational minister
can provide a safe place to explore any and all issues
that are common to the human experience.

If family and friends are suggesting you need help,
you are having disturbing or confusing dreams, or
you are facing a major transition in your life,
consider consulting a professional.  A therapist
can be considered a "relationship professional" in
much the same way that we have doctors and
naturopaths to help us with our physical issues
and financial advisers to help us with money
    and investment issues.

Give me a call to see if the services I offer
might be a good match to what you need.
If not, I will do my best to help you find
someone who can help. Call me at
    360-696-8837.
